Mothers Deserve Spring Flowers

In honor of Mother’s Day, May 10, I’ve found a beautiful poem to share with you wonderful mothers out there, written by Debra Bryant Lykins:

“A Mother is like a flower

Beautiful, still and patient.

Mothers beauty is in the way

She loves her child

Her stillness is in waiting on her child to respond

And her patience comes from her child knowing right from wrong

A beautiful flower blossoms, ahhhhhhh

The scent of a flower is calming

As it sits still for the wind to carry its scent.

And it is patient, on going to seed,

It lasts for an enjoyable season.”
