New Baby Flowers That Celebrate New Beginnings

New baby flowers come in joyful pastels and soft colors that welcome the newest family member. Soft pinks for baby girls, light blues for baby boys, or beautiful neutral yellows, whites, and greens for families who prefer to celebrate without color assumptions. Our arrangements combine gentle blooms like tulips, carnations, and daisies in arrangements that feel celebratory without being overwhelming in a hospital or nursery setting.

If you're thinking longer-term, potted plants and blooming plants are wonderful baby gifts that brighten a nursery or home for weeks and months. You can also add a stuffed animal, balloons, or a small gift to create the perfect new baby celebration package. Whether mom delivers at the hospital or at home, we'll make sure your congratulations reach them at the perfect moment to celebrate this beautiful new beginning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you deliver to hospitals for newborns?
Yes! We deliver to Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center and other hospitals throughout the Gresham and Portland area. When ordering, provide the hospital name, mother's name, and room number if available. We also deliver to homes if parents prefer to celebrate at home instead.
Should I choose pink, blue, or neutral colors?
That's entirely up to you! Traditional pink for girls and blue for boys are beautiful. But many families today prefer neutral yellows, whites, greens, and soft peachy tones that celebrate the baby without gender assumptions. We can create something perfect for their preference—just let us know what feels right.
Are there flowers to avoid near newborns?
We recommend avoiding heavily scented flowers like lilies or gardenias near newborns, as strong fragrances can be overwhelming in a hospital room with a new baby. We create soft, gently scented arrangements perfect for nurseries and hospital rooms. If there are allergies or sensitivities, just let us know when you order.
Are plants better than flowers for new baby?
Both are wonderful! Flowers are perfect for immediate celebration and joy. Plants last much longer and brighten a nursery or home for weeks or months, making them great for those who want something lasting. Many parents appreciate a plant because it grows with their baby. Choose based on what feels right for the family.
Can I add stuffed animals or balloons?
Absolutely! Stuffed animals, balloons, and other gifts make wonderful additions to a new baby flower arrangement. Call us at 503-661-0911 to discuss what we can include and create the perfect new baby celebration package.
When is the best time to send new baby flowers?
Send flowers right after the baby is born to the hospital, or wait a few days and send them to the home as they're settling in—both timings are meaningful. If sending to the hospital, order as soon as you hear the news. For home delivery, wait until you know they're home and ready for visitors. We can deliver same-day if you order before noon.
What if the baby hasn't been delivered yet?
Order early-pregnancy flowers for a "waiting for baby" delivery to the mom-to-be's home, or wait until you confirm the baby has arrived to send congratulations flowers. We recommend waiting for confirmation of delivery and baby's health before hospital flowers. Call us at 503-661-0911 if you have questions about timing.
